  Nokia N8 Now Available for Pre-order in Singapore

  A phone with pretty solid hardware including a 12-megapixel camera and HDMI output (though nobody’s really excited about the Symbian OS) is now available for pre-order in Singapore.

  

  Rumours has it that this is the last N-series phone running the Symbian OS and Nokia will be shipping MeeGo from N9 onwards. Check out the press release for details after the break.

  Google Instant launching in Singapore

  When Google announced Google Instant late last month, they said they were working to bring it to Singapore in the coming weeks.

  Yesterday, Google started rolling out Google Instant in Singapore, and it should be available to all signed-in users in the coming days according to Google. 

  Since the global launch, Google has also already added a couple of new features to improve the user experience. With the aim of making search faster and easier, these latest enhancements to take that a step further:

  • Keyboard navigation - To help you explore your Instant search results using just your keyboard, with no need for a mouse or touchpad
  • Instant support  for other search modes - Use Instant while searching through Videos, News, Books, Blogs, Updates and Discussions

  In addition to Singapore, Google Instant is now available across other parts of Asia as well including Australia, New Zealand, India and Korea.
