Since 'the geek shall inherit the earth', this geek is just waiting for his day to rule the world. In the meantime, he is a young Padawan for CNET Asia whilst toying with a myriad of fun stuff disguised as work and pretending to advise companies on tech business and new media strategies. His playmates range from startups, (un)Fortune 500s, to government organisations. And JUST in case you were wondering, this blog is NOT about to make this geek a politician like his Malaysian CNET counterpart.

I’m not sure about you guys but as a gamer, this new HP TouchSmart has brought about a whole new meaning to the terminology, “faceroll”.

Only instead of rolling my face across the keyboard to cause pure carnage to my virtual opponents, Id be rolling it across the screen side to side, top to bottom!

Come to think of it, it also brings a whole new meaning to the saying, “I’ll wipe that smile off your face!”

That’s already 2 brand new definitions to the gaming world this PC brings and I’m sure there’s plenty more where that came from which I would gladly share as soon as I get my grubby hands, (or face =P ) on it!

  • Tan Says:

When i get my hands on this baby, the first thing i’ll do is to log on to facebook and poke my friends(literally on the touchscreen)

Not only that, photo editing has never been so fun with the HP touchsmart desktop. I can add on my personal “touch” to all my photos of my loved ones.

And since my computer desk is beside my bed(I’m a lazy geek), with the new HP touchsmart, laziness has reached a new level. Gone are the days where I need to get out(grudgingly) of my comfy position to adjust the volume/play new movie or music tracks when I’m watching my fav mtvs/movies.

With the touch of the screen using my smelly toes, multimedia experience on the computer has never been so convenient.

In case you are wondering how am i going to see the screen lying so far away my new touchsmart(yes it’s gonna be all mine), the 22 inch monitor screen solves my problem.

The screen’s so big, my dad could probably see what movie I’m watching while standing at the door(uh oh….and btw, my room’s rather big)
My parents could also benefit with the arrival of the new member of our family. Teaching them how to use the pc would be such a breeze as I only need to tell them to poke on the screen instead of using the mouse

(F.Y.I my parents has never touched a pc for their entire lives with the exception of a calculator. One reason being that they find using the mouse such a daunting task that they’ll rather pester their son pertaining to IT matters)

So when do I come down to collect my new baby? =P

    Dear Geekonomics,

I’m a 32 year-old computer addict. My psychiatrist has advised me stay on his typewriter for now.

I’ve a secret. I am really struggling to keep my fetish on ‘Touch’ gadgets in check recently. Hmmmmm, thinking about it just makes me want to orgas..nize my folders. There are so many ways to touch a gadget to make it…ahhhhh….click. *panting*

I bet the computer files can come so much quicker when I search using all my fingers. And if I think it’s too hot near the screen, I’ll just use my toes. My eyesight’s 6/6 by the way for an addict..

Oh bless me. *heavy panting* That multi-TOUCH (awwww..) display sounds so delicious. I bet I can lick the cherry of that cake in Photoshop. *slurp*

Wait! Wait!! I know what I’ll do! I’ll spice up that moaning Barry White down-tempo tracks by sliding those faders with my fingers in and out, in and out…

OMG!! Games!! I can’t imagine playing poker on this mojo!!! Just think of the endless fun by poking and poking and poking and poking….

Ooooh man… I’m getting really dizzy now.

Please Geekonomics, don’t spill my secrets in your blog. I trust you enough to share these fascinations with you. I know that you’ll understand me. Others may not.

After all, these issues are touchy…*burp*

    Nice one.

I think the most exciting thing about these large touch screen is their potential in the field of child development. Even before a 3 year-old kid can read or write or use a standard keyboard, they could use some visual touch-screen applications, like fingerpainting or a piano simulator. Even patty-cake is a possibility — as long as their hands are clean, of course. Such applications wouldn’t need to be language-specific either.

    OLPC, you guys listening?

I like the thoughts of being able to customize an interface that suits a specific users needs. Like expanding an on-screen interface if you have big hands, or making it smaller for little kid hands. You can’t do that with a keyboard and mouse.

Looking forward to seeing your reviews!

    Currently,
    Connecting means cabling.
    Discovering means scrolling.
    Selecting means clicking.
    Interacting means typing.

Relaxing means leaning back on your work chair.

    With the HP TouchSmart,
    Connecting means pairing.
    Discovering means flicking.
    Selecting means pointing.
    Interacting means touching.

Relaxing means lying down on the couch…

To me, life’s just more interactive, more intuitive, more productive, more fun, and most importantly, more… human - with the HP TouchSmart. ‘Nuff said.

  • Cris Says:

The HP TouchSmart IQ500 is really the new generation of home computer that everyone should have in the near future.

I love to host mini parties at my place. I would usually connect my ipod video to my loud speakers and blast it on. With HP TouchSmart IQ500, it would bring the party up a whole new level. My friends can use their finger to scroll and select the songs that they want to play visually on a monitor screen and blasting it through the integrated speakers!

Multi tasking also goes up a whole new level because I am a heavy multi tasker. in the mutli task mode, i can add more items or remove items out before continuing anything, which is something cool because I dont really need to visit that application and shut it off.

Photo editing has come a long way too. I have lots of photos to edit every week and using my fingers to edit it is a very interesting idea. No need for the use of opening photoshop and microsoft paint to resize the picture or set the contrast level! All can be done at one place.

Instant messaging and web browsing can also be defined as “qwerty” too! Switch on the on screen keyboard and I believe I can do without the keyboard for a long time. I can draw better pig heads to my friends on MSN, or open up and manage more websites at one time to satisfy my web surfing needs at one go!

Well, the HP TouchSmart IQ500 will definitely make me a smarter, more productive young businessman along the way!

  • SabrinaL Says:

    Imagine.

What life would be with the HP TouchSmart?

If there was one word to describe this life, it would be this: Naturally.

Learning would be so much fun for my children when they are doing their school assignments since most homework requires research on the web. It’s just so much more intuitive and natural to point our fingers on what we see on the screen than trying to aim with a teeny little arrow cursor.

    Now imagine this.

This will be a blessing for children with physical limitations. What is previously unnatural with a mouse or keyboard can now be done naturally with the HP TouchSmart. I can just imagine the smiles on their faces as they anticipate life with a renewed sense of hope and imagination simply because it is possible with the HP TouchSmart.

I believe we’ll see more of the HP TouchSmart in schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centres, workplaces and homes simply because it turns the unnatural to natural. Now everyone can use a computer.

All we have to do is imagine.

  • Charles Oh Says:

The swanky design will definitely command a favorite spot in my working space. Toiuchscreen makes accessing of entertainment features easier and indeed makes the whole usage “very lifestyle and cool”!

  • PaulK Says:

Finally! and definitely a valuable asset to any future music lab or video production studio.

As a music workstation display, this might be the answer to painful hours of editing using just one pointer. Mice are useful but why restrict yourself to just one ‘finger’? To be able to control multichannels of a mixing board ‘live’ on the screen… with quick and accurate access to all the knobs and sliders at all your fingertips!

Then of course there’s the sonata or rumba you could always perform on screen…

Or the a one-man-operation recording booth without clunky keyboard and fiddly mouse: just one nifty, sleek touchsmart!

    Totally
    original
    understated
    creative
    hydrogenous
    Sexy
    magical
    arresting
    reactive
    tasty!

  • Jonathan Says:

Alright. Time to finally throw the keyboard and mouse out the window. Make space on the table for the screen!

Okay, maybe not. I’ll just put the screen on the wall beside my bed, so the first thing I can do when I wake up, I can start watching the videos I downloaded through the night? I can finally work on my bed! Lying on my bed, just raising some fingers touching here and there on the screen to do my work. Talk about how relaxed doing work can be. Hah! With all my ten fingers, talk about speed! If that’s not enough, add in some toes too. Photo-editing, video editing, I’m excited what I can do at much faster speeds! 10 fingers are much better than a mouse right? Does that make it 10 times faster? LOL. With such a big screen, I can tile the windows, put each finger on one, and multi-task 10 things at a time! Opps, my brain can’t keep up.

Alright, time to think of how to exercise my fingers to make them faster. Now, I’d better find an extension plug so that I can hang up the screen just beside my bed…

    Does that make me crazy?
    Does that make me crazy?
    Does that make me crazy?
    Probably

If your desire for a new generation PC is strong enough, perhaps you can see the future, or at least be reasonably confident of what HP’s latest touch screen PC will be, so that you won’t have to sing, Crazy, when you first lay your eyes, and fingers, on it.

As just a panel PC, the TouchSmart is gorgeous. Compared with other computers like a desktop that, well, sits on a desk, our object of desire is definitely more portable. I have this idea of popping it on the bed and read emails or surf the web or watch youtube… with just the touch of the fingers, the possibility is endless!

I give another example. The relatives and friends that visit have to be entertained. Now this beautify design could be brought out from the study or bedroom, and sit proudly in a living room. What a home media centre it would be! Once they leave, back it goes for more ‘serious’ work…

  • GaMerZ Says:

Gone are the good old days where you only used 2 forms of interaction with your PC, the mouse and the keyboard.

  • Cheen Says:

The HP Multi-touch PC will definitely change the way we interact with computers. I can imagine children and older folks being able to get more out of the HP PC by doing what comes naturally — touching and manipulating what they see on screen!

    Next stop, voice commands!

  • Shawn Says:

I think that pointing is a natural instinct for humans now, and the HP TouchSmart IQ500 really makes using the computer natural, as the computer adapts to us, and not the other way around.

My use of this will be photo editing, as the touch screen would be a very large bonus. Furthermore, it’d not just be a PC - it’d be an art piece, a conversation piece during parties! Piping music through it’s speakers, watching movies through it’s kick-ass screen, and the cover-flow like interface just adds a whole new dimension to using the computer. Now what’d it be like if we mounted it onto a coffee table, just like the Microsoft Surface! :)

Another bonus for me is that my parents would finally be able to use the PC, they’re generally technophobes and usually, it’d be me who does all the e-filing & bill payments (on iBanking). Now how hard could it be for them! Oh yes, placing this in the kitchen would be excellent! You could read your secret recipes, and watch a movie or listen to music while cooking up a storm, just remember to put on a protective cover for the screen! (HP, do you have that accessory?) Or maybe, you could mount it on a flexible frame on your bedside, and when you wake up, you could stop your alarm, and start piping music through, or even watch movies while dressing up!

Another application for this could be in the medical field, as doctors and nurses wouldn’t have to use the same common surface so often, and all they need to do is just touch. And I believe explaining X-Rays or CT scans may be much easier with the aid of the HP TouchSmart IQ500, as they could just enlarge a certain picture, and then just drag it away when needed

It’d be even better if this could be made portable, with a smaller screen. It’d replace a DJ’s turntable, or be an effective marketing tool for architects to be on-site, and make changes on the go! The possibilities of using this are endless, and all my suggestions are just the tip of the ice-berg, so good on ya’ HP!

  • admin Says:

@Cheen - nice to have you visit my humble blog!! Hahaha… are you predicting HP’s next PC already?

@Shawn - I totally agree! With this nifty device, people may finally overcome their technophobia!

  • Shawn Says:

    @admin: What may?! It’d probably be a ‘will’! :D

  • admin Says:

@Shawn… are you getting too ‘touchy’ here? LOL OK lah… WILL (you take the HP Touchsmart PC as your beloved..?)

  • Shawn Says:

Haha, sure, I’ll gladly take it as my beloved, now where’s the ring….

  • Larry Zotter Says:

Finally i can say “look ma no hands” while playing n fps shooter on this baby.

  • joshua Says:

The new HP TouchSmart IQ500 PC will change the mindset we have about computer , being with a keyboard and a mouse, Bringing it to the next level of human interaction. Not only using mouse and keyboard to maneuver around the cyberspace but using your fingers to literary surf the net. Holding pictures and moving them around in a PC will be as easy as it sounds with a touch you can literary hold and move items with your very own fingers.

  • Cheam Says:

I’m not convinced that TouchSmart is ever meant to be a productivity tool… If the best ergonomic keyboard still gives you Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, imagine what this will do to you!

Forget about highly interactive desktop games too (it’s probably good if you are one of the few that actually enjoy playing boardgames on screen, though). That pretty shiny screen wont stand a session of (ab)use in hands of even the mildest of gamers.

So if it is not a desktop tool, it shouldn’t be on my desk! It’ll probably look nice next to hi-fi sets and designer couch, but at 22inch it’s definitely not a living room entertainment unit (and not very brag-able either).

HP needs to better define this product before it gets any traction at all.

  • Daniel Says:

    Finally no more messy wirings.
As usual the bright glossy screen which never fails to add to beauty to all HP products.
This is definitely a winner in terms of versatility and style.

  • Michael Tan Says:

OK comments good or bad? Here goes.

This THING is pretty, but it’s still based on the lean forward paradigm. In my experience, human activity is now confined to lean forward and lie back - lean forward for computers with keyboards, and lie back for TV. Get the picture?

The main culprit is the keyboard, it’s big and presumably heavy. It needs 2 thighs to be together, it’s nice for a lady but for a guy swilling beer that’s like …. crossing your legs like Sharon Stone.

Nothing an upgrade can’t solve, though. Check out the Logitech diNovo here. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3848&cl=sg,en it’ll cure the lean forward issue.

Now what would I do with this?

Not for surfing, really, surfing is for notebooks not desktops, unless it’s surfing at work, and even then that’s mainly done on notebooks nowadays.

Can I game with this? Nah, not really, unless I can stuff 1 or 2 nVidia 9800GTX+ into it. Even Mass Effect brings a single monster card to its knees with max effects, so wither a little graphics chip on the HP.

So the best use for it is probably to put it on a hydraulic boom and mount it from a ceiling on top of my bed, just like those hospital wards. Map my home terabyte NAS storage server as drive Z, pull it down, with Vista Media Centre select BattleStar Galactica or Heroes with my fingers, perhaps with my fingers staying a LITTLE longer on Grace Park and push it away, gently, then enjoy the show.

Now I wonder if this thing has a headphone jack because TV viewing today is so personalized that me and my wife don’t really watch the same shows anymore with so many shows available.

If I get one of these babies my wife might just get one just to watch retro stuff from crunchyroll.com ….

The HP TOUCH SMART has definitely revolutionized consumer shopping everywhere, with a brand new experience and it can be applied to various industries with some of the examples explained below:

    - Photo Printing Shops
Printing photos will never be the same because customers can edit and adjust their photos to whatever size and dimensions they want before printing, all done with a touch of a finger on the screen itself!

    - Music Stores
Music stores can now provide customers a whole new touch based experience to listen to the demos of the music while looking at the music cover album on screen before the purchase, instead of facing a big greyish boxy cd player with some unresponsive buttons on it.

    - Computer Games
Strategic mmporg games like Starcraft and Warcraft will never be the same again because gamers will be able to control everything by touching. It really redefines how the game works and how it should be played altogether.

    - Bank Trading
Traders can finally relax the clicking of the mouse to open new windows when they want to capture a new deal. Let the fingers do the touching, by tapping, clicking and even resizing of the many pop up windows!

    - Sales and Marketing
This is probably my best and my favourite point. Businessmen or entrepreneurs can better impress their customers with better visual aids and interactions with the HP TOUCH SMART itself. It’s is definitely cheaper to use pen, paper to write and draw the required details!

  • Rosie Says:

Trying to read stocks’ charts & put on technical indicators on a 12 inch screen is also a pain in the neck (literally)!

GOSH! If I had the HP TouchSmart, it would definitely feel like I have died & gone to heaven!

    1) It would certainly prevent me from turning into a giraffe from all the stretching of my aching neck. My neck will probably be able to support my head better. ;)

    2) Bye bye squinting eyes & no more looking like a half-asleep owl.

    3) With touch screen, I can save $ on buying batteries for my mousy mouse!

    4) Perhaps I will become a better investor. Why? Cos I can easily spot what the stocks’ indicators are showing & make more $ to buy another HP TouchSmart! Heehee…

    5) I will feel like an angel. Why? Cos all it needs is my magical touch! ;p

    1) Take the Touchsmart to heart and show your IQ(506). HP is the way to go.

    2) Don’t let Apple have it all their own way, buy a HP Touchsmart today.

    3) The future is touch, from HP it won’t cost that much.

    4) Touchsmart - pushing the boundaries only takes a finger (this is my favorite).

Can you imagine using this great gear on stage or during concerts? I can. I do loads of gigs and concerts as I’m a singer & piano player. Yes, I’m an entertainer, just like the HP Touchsmart. Imagine, With 2 creative and innovative objects, the synergy is explosive!
Throw away the music & lyric books with the fall-out pages! All I need is to put it on that baby grand piano and it’ll look so sleek ,sexy and stylish. Of course the possibilities are endless. I will definitely play my musical keyboard on the touch screen. How cool is that? I could make people around me happy at anytime of the day not just only when I’m on stage! I’m very sure it will take the music industry by storm once its seen on the big stage!

    With HP TouchSmart IQ500 life will be added a personal touch;
    Using the computer will no longer be sitting down so much;
    Surfing, chatting, gaming and all computing will become an art;
    It no longer will be technology as it now comes with a heart;
Hard it will be for anyone who uses it to from it part…the HP TouchSmart

How I will use it? It will be like a companion than a computer. Imagine an AI avatar that asks you to touch her face and respond to your touch. How about her asking you to kiss her cheeks?

Everything cyber will start to become more real and hyper. It will not be placed on any table for sure as it can become anything from a painting board where I can feel more real painting a picture than using a digital mouse pen, to an interactive occupational therapy device to exercise the fingers.

I can use it to practice or learn foot reflexology by pressing on the correct points of the feet. I can put it with my pet and let it respond to any touches from my pet. I don’t need a real mahjong set to feel the action of shuffling or throwing the mahjong tile. I don’t have to be limited to using a password for security but by the way I touch it and move things around in it.

Imagine adjusting volume or the equalizer of your sound system, I can now actually perform the action of turning the volume knob and pushing the equalizer lever up and down. All sorts of physical interface and controls can appear on it.

I can put it in the toilet an have the feeling of flipping the newspaper while reading it there. I can lick the screen to test how fast I can finish an ice cream bar. I can use it to train how accurate I can place something onto a surface.

The uses are too much for me to finish here. The creativity can be so great be it entertainment, education, communication or work. I just hope the application developers are up to the potential of the uses possible.

  • Izzy Says:

The HP touchsmart will be a very intuitive educational tool. Many scientific concepts (from physics, chemistry to geology) will be much better conveyed, experienced and remembered if people were allowed to perform simulations with the HP touchsmart.

Artists and architects would have a more intuitive environment in which to work with and build their models. The learning curve of 3D programs will be much less steep, allowing designers to focus more on creativity, and less on technology. Helping them realize their visions with more accuracy and less compromises as with unintuitive modeling methods.

Reading online content can be redesigned to suit using a touchscreen. This may make assimilating online content more intuitive and enchance the concentration span of the audience as it can simulate the print medium where readers concentration is held for a longer time on a particular piece of work.

“What will your life be like with HP TouchSmart?”

As a person who predicts multi-touch to be popular within the next three years on anything from desktop, notebook computers, phones to digital photo frames. The HP TouchSmart simply had made the adoption process faster.

I would think myself and the world would re-discover the Internet again. With so much social content such as videos, pictures, blogs, on your face book, flickr, YouTube etc, it’s a brand new opportunity to re-explore your virtual social world with a whole new interactivity experience.

Of course, for that to happen, the Internet may have to be re-written perhaps in a new “multi-touch markup language”, AJAX, Flash, Silverlight or whatever that make sense.

I would definitely check out PicLens ( http://www.piclens.com/ ) with HP TouchSmart. PicLens might just be one of these new ways to explore the Internet again.

What will your life be like with HP TouchSmart?

The first thing that came to my mind when I read this question was, “I could be the artist I always wanted to be!” This is basically a 22″ canvas for me where I can actually use my fingers to draw. Think of the control and precision that you would have! A tablet PC and the stylus is the “next” best thing.

I can think of an advertising campaign HP could make around this… “Be the artist you want to be!”

Think of FPS (first-person shooter) games! I could actually target by moving my finger on the screen. The so-called “pros” would be running from me with the flawless targeting!

Even general work on the computer, like surfing the web, reading boring documents & emails, photo editing, etc would become a lot more fun and faster with the multi-touch display.

To conclude, if there is still any doubt left I will say it… Yes, I would like very much to win a HP TouchSmart IQ500!

This computer reminds me of the one featured in the movie, Minority Report, several years back, where Tom Cruise was standing in the middle of the room, swishing around the computer system main frame with flicks of his wrist!! The ultimate in coolness!! (The computer I mean )

It would be a dream come true to be able to use your fingers and get touchy-feely instead of remotely through a mouse or other external devices, and this would definitely be a nice compliment for people who have already started using touch technology gadgets like iTouch and HTC Touch.

The first thing that comes to my mind about this computer, would be the amount of finger prints you would get on the monitor! Currently, I have friends who would tell you off when you are touching their computer screens when pointing things out to them…I have literally gotten slaps on the wrist for doing that !! and its not just 1 person that I know off who has this habit !! Now this is the group of people I would like to see this computer reach out to, convert and convince them that its ok to have fun and get touchy with your computer!!

Based on that though, I would think that the most important numero uno accessorary to go with this computer is…. DRUM ROLL PLEASE…. A Screen Protector !!

Definitely a computer for the future !

  • admin Says:

@Wynne - wah… you can definitely use this for your Beijing Olympics and F1 performances!

@Abraham - love that comment on how security logins will change - we don’t need passwords anymore, logins are based on certain hand motions made on the screen itself - that’s a new form of biometrics! Mahjong and Foot Reflexology! Fwah! But about that AI Avatar…

@Izzy - my humble blog is not worthy of thy presence :p hope you are keeping well :)

@godfred - funny how your nick is in small caps and your entry is all in caps! Hope that the Touchsmart can change that for you!

@Ken - yeah definitely some new software layer will be needed for all these multi-touch and immersive apps to be developed. Windows 7 anyone?

    @David - hahaha…

@Bhuvan - Yeah love it on the FPS! I can now be a world-class cyberathelete!

@Mavis - Yeah it sure smacks of Minority Report! Now just have to wait for the software :) Did you see the earlier comments made about licking the screens? hehe. Actually the screen I believe has reinforced glass so you prolly don’t need a screen protector just like how I did not need one for my Tablet PC TC-1000

  • Consuming fires Says:

I’ve always been the sort of person who likes to touch and be touch. I love to hug or just have close body contact with my friends. Of course I try to do this act to those with similar gender as mine so as not to be accused of sexual harrassment unless it’s my mom or sister (whom I am best friend with).

There is one big problem though because I am a guy and guys don’t usually do the touch thing. “Man touch” just don’t cut it.

At least with this PC, I can have a touch relationship and the wonderful thing is that people won’t think I am strange and look at me as though ‘ve grown another head On top of that it will reciprocate my touch with wonderful effects and not shirk back in disgust.

This will at least curb my urgency to touch human being for a long while and relief my mom and sis from my bone crunching hug. I swore that I hear bones breaking sometime when I hug them.

That said, no one else is gonna touch this baby when it’s mine. Woe to the anyone if I see other fingerprints on her. (of course I get to decide on her gender right?)

It’ll be swell also to my man friends cause at least I won’t be touching them while I go gaga over this PC

I think I overdid it but I have a tendency to be melodramatic…lol. But the thing about me loving to touch is true and HP TouchSmart IQ500 more than cuts it.

What will your life be like with HP TouchSmart?

It’ll be awesome and a fantasy come true! Why do I say that? I’ve always fancied using the computer without my mouse and using my fingers only, just like HP’s adverts where someone moves stuff on the computer around using their hands/fingers! Further more, the HP TouchSmart is black and sleek! I’m a sucker for sleek and shiny stuff.

Photoshop on the HP TouchSmart would be like painting on a huge blank piece of paper using my bare hands with sloppy paint, ‘cept that it’ll be much cleaner, more exciting and just imagine what I can draw! No more crooked lines in attempt to draw straight lines using the mouse :P Oooh I’m quivering with excitement as I imagine myself using the HP TouchSmart~~ I can finally touch and spread my fingerprints on the screen on purpose, hee hee.

Okay besides drawing and photoshop, gaming would be different too, for me. Since one of my favourite games is Bejewelled & Checkers (MSN games are fun okay!), I can chuck my mouse one side for this game and use my awesome fingers to point and click, oops, I meant tap on the screen to play. Ah, bliss.

Wow. Imagine all the kinds of fun I’ll have if I own the HP TouchSmart. I’ll promise to draw the cartoon version of you using my fingers. And also take a picture of myself and put those clocks on my eyes. It’s a new fashion statement! :)

Computer aside, the HP TouchScreen as a tv would really blow my mind away and stick my bum on my chair. Computer + TV = me and my happy mum. My mum’s computer iliterate but with the HP TouchScreen, I think my mum will be excited to learn how to use the computer properly. It’ll be much easier to teach her (and interactive too), considering the fact that I can just point on the screen and tell her what the icons are for, etc. My mum gets really excited when she learns that we can do lots of fun and interesting things on a computer. Then after that, we can both watch tv & dvds on it. Mum & daughter bonding with the help of technology…! xD
